Ammar is a true Hamilton boy through and through. Having been born and raised in Hamilton, he even attended McMaster University where he graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from the DeGroote School of Business.
Ammar has been recognized nationally by the Canadian Society of Association Executives as an Emerging Talent and has recently been named one of the City of Hamilton’s Top 40 Under 40 impactful business professionals in the community. Passionate about hospitality and creating meaningful connections with people, Ammar has been with Carmens Group for almost 16 years holding a variety of different roles along the way.
Currently Ammar is the Vice President of Sales, leading our sales strategy and support revenue growth across the portfolio. Outside of work Ammar is passionate about travel, worldly experiences, and sports, particularly the Toronto Raptors, Maple Leafs, and Blue Jays. When he’s not working hard, you may find Ammar enjoying a cigar on the golf course and relaxing in his free time.
