Carmens Group started as a family business, and families pitch in to help each other. We’ve taken that idea and applied it to our ethos as a business to make positive contributions to our community, together. We never hesitate to donate our time, resources and knowledge and that’s the idea that drives our Carmens Group Cares program.

Our community support focuses on youth, education, social services, and reducing poverty. We live to empower in-need and at-risk kids in our community. When they succeed, we succeed. We work alongside Hamilton’s biggest champions and supporters. We believe that when our city is thriving, we all thrive; and we make every effort to give achieve just that. We are forever dedicated to championing our community’s most cherished fundraisers, galas, projects, and more. We do more than just care, we action it.

Aiming high for our community

When we do work in our community, we aim high. CEO PJ Mercanti championed the bid to host the Commonwealth Games, and COO Joe Mercanti proudly serves as Chair of the Board for the new Dr. Bob Kemp Children’s Hospice. Our annual Harvest Dinner brings together over a thousand people from across Hamilton’s business community. With the help of Carmens Group, Good Shepherd’s annual Christmas Wonderland is a holiday mainstay in the community.

Investing in Hamilton's future

Our charity efforts are focused on reducing the financial burden and enhancing the education of Hamilton’s youth and underprivileged. Carmens Group is proud to be a founding sponsor of the Charity of Hope Gala, an event that is attended by over 900 guests annually. This event supports local children’s organizations including City Kidz, Liberty for Youth, and the Boys and Girls Club, as well as numerous benevolent causes and local school programming.
