Join Us at Soupfest 2025: A Celebration of Community and Cuisine
We are thrilled to announce that Carmens Group will be participating in the 23rd Annual Soupfest, a cherished Hamilton tradition supporting Living Rock Ministries. This year’s event is scheduled for Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 7:00 PM at the Hamilton Convention Centre, located at 1 Summers Lane, Hamilton, ON.
Soupfest is more than just a culinary event; it’s a community gathering that brings together local restaurants and soup enthusiasts to support at-risk youth in our community. Attendees can savour a variety of soups crafted by top local chefs, with restaurants competing for titles such as Best Soup, Most Creative Soup, Heart Smart, and Best Display. Each $20 ticket entitles you to four 4-ounce bowls of soup from the vendors of your choice.
Carmens Group’s Involvement
We are proud to share that both Baci Ristorante and the Hamilton Convention Centre will be showcasing their culinary talents at this year’s Soupfest. Our very own Director of Culinary, Chef Derek Easton, will be presenting his delectable Corn Potato Chowder, a comforting blend of tender potatoes and sweet corn in a savory broth, topped with chili crunch, chive oil, and corn bread crumble. Chef Easton recently shared this recipe during a segment on CHCH’s Morning Live, offering a sneak peek of the flavors to expect at the event.

All proceeds from Soupfest directly benefit Living Rock Ministries, a Hamilton-based organization dedicated to providing essential support and resources to youth aged 13-25 who are facing challenges such as homelessness, poverty, and mental health issues. By attending Soupfest, you are contributing to programs that offer food, shelter, employment training, and a safe space for these young individuals to envision a brighter future.
