Chef Kyle is the Executive Chef at Carmen’s Banquet Centre. He is best known for his ability to execute appetizing meals on a large scale without sacrificing quality for quantity. Chef Kyle not only expertly oversees menu design, trains cooks, manages suppliers, he also prides himself on being a hands on chef, making him the best suited to manage the venue’s culinary operations.
Prior to working for Carmen’s, Chef Kyle developed into his culinary role as a cook for Oliver and Bonacini Events and Catering in Toronto. He further built a foundation in food services by cooking for various boutique hotels in Toronto and across the GTA. Chef Kyle is experienced in volume cooking for a wide range of events and strives to create a restaurant quality experience for each guest. With his natural ability to lead, it comes as no surprise that he’s a Leadership Scholarship Awardee.
Chef Kyle shifted into the culinary world after obtaining a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. He then earned his Culinary Skills Diploma from Conestoga College and afterwards became a Red Seal Certified chef. When he’s not artfully leading the Carmen’s Banquet Centre culinary team, you can find him on the golf course. He enjoys spending time with his rescue dog Riggs, and is also a true Blue Jays fan. Chef Kyle is someone who strives to stay true to who he is by following his passions.
