“Everybody loves a comeback story. The fact that Hamilton was frozen in time economically for a decade or two will prove to be one our greatest attributes as the next chapter of our city’s tale is written. At first glance ours may not appear to be a Cinderella story, but it’s not how you start the race that counts – it’s how you finish. Although our past is largely defined by our steel town heritage, becoming a destination for inspired hospitality will one day be a hallmark of our city. I’m all for wishing upon a star but I’d prefer to back up the dreaming with bold action and old fashioned hard work. That’s the only way that magic gets made.“
