Sara is the Assistant General Manager at the C Hotel by Carmen’s. Her attention to detail and natural drive allow her to efficiently oversee housekeeping as well as front desk and banquets operations. Sara’s natural ability to recognize each individual’s strengths and needs not only keeps the hotel’s staff in top shape, but also ensures clients and guests are taken care of with the highest level of customer service across all areas of hotel operations.
Sara has a wealth of experience in the food and hospitality industry. Her studies began in Niagara where she worked summers at Southern Pines Golf and Country Club in positions ranging from short order cook to Assistant Clubhouse Manager. Sara went on to further her education in Switzerland and later returned to Canada to work as the Food and Beverage Supervisor for Fairmont Algonquin in New Brunswick. Upon returning to Ontario, she excelled as the Assistant Food and Beverage Services Manager for Delta Chelsea, where she focused on guest and employee satisfaction parallel with bottom line performance. Sara is also the proud recipient of the 2015 Carmen’s Phoenix Award for Outstanding Performance and Dedication.
Sara has a Bachelor of Applied Business in Hospitality Operations Management from Niagara College and an MBA in Hospitality Operations Management from the International Hotel Management Institute in Luzern, Switzerland. She loves watching her kids grow and helping them learn as they are constantly surprising and impressing her every day.
